Color

Color is sometimes associated with man-made concepts/ideas/feelings/etc. They have been "culturalized."

For some reason the color white is seen as pure or clean. Yet for some reason it has also been given the color of surrender or loss (as in a war). Green is associated with envy, anger, etc. Ironically it is also the color of American money. Red has so many constructs too. Romance, fertility, anger, STOP. Lol.

I'm not saying any of this is wrong or right. It's just... why? And it's all around us. Artists purposefully choose particular colors for many of its cultural associations. It's all very intriguing to me.
